But stretch all out and the shake of hands build bonds. A single palm could cover the eyes, blocking out the view of the entire world. But stretch out the arm and the palm becomes part of the arm that carries and suddenly, the world become visible.<br />
<br />
That, is the power of perception.To build or to destroy. You think you loved someone deeply, she may see it differently. You think you sacrifice many, she may think otherwise.<br />
<br />
The right perception will always be a point of argument but if the fingers and arms are stretched out, then the world will always be visible.Christopherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01920528102785106499noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946142765446712491.post-52686183146293724752013-04-15T08:40:00.001+08:002013-04-15T08:49:24.363+08:00The visitorDear Visitor,<br />
<br />
It is a blessing that you decided to visit. The emotional struggle has never been easy and with your visit, I see and believe again.<br />
<br />
I looked back at the person I was back then and the person I am today and a sad realization that I have changed. Using the word change would probably be an understatement. It was more of; I was broken. My will paralyzed, thoughts swayed, dreams forgotten. Who am I? I could no longer answer with conviction.<br />
<br />
When you came, you listened, you understood, you did not judge. You taught me to acknowledge. It was ok to be hurt, to be disappointed, sad, frustrated, and above all you showed me that it was ok to be broken. A broken arm will eventually heal. So too a broken heart.<br />
<br />
It is not easy and will never be but with the little sense of acknowledgement, I bring myself to forgive and then to learn and let go. <br />
<br />
I no longer doubt but believe again in what I lost faith in. The white lotus does indeed grow from mud into an object of great beauty.<br />
<br />
Thank you my visitor for this valuable lesson. I will keep it close to my heart.<br />
<br />
Yours sincerely.<br />

It is either turn back or to just take the leap of faith; into the unknown; but while the mind is willing, the heart isn't and the feet just won't budge. Frozen. Either way would seem to be the right way, yet wrong.<br />
<br />
Suddenly, the child in me surfaces, desperately needing care and comfort despite the toughness and strength portrayed. Still, I will have to face the harsh reality that I have fallen.Christopherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01920528102785106499noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946142765446712491.post-16922861851046394422013-04-05T18:06:00.001+08:002013-04-05T18:06:59.447+08:00ScandaliciousBeing able to do something that makes the heart smile is really awesome! I dated Madrid, had a sweet affair with Sector 9 but in the end, it was the American Tracker that was to be my wife! Sweet Jesus!<br />

Alone. George Michaels singing softly in the background. For a lot of reasons, this is the calm I have been craving for. I don't get to do this often, but when I do, I quickly look back from where I am. That's when everything seems like a dream. The fall, the tears, the laughter, the satisfaction, the family, the friends. Everyone of them has been a teacher to me but the lesson most imprinted in my heart is the 'This Too Will Pass' lesson. Every joy; every sadness will come to an end. The journey so far has not been easy and I can't say I've reached my goals but with this pit-stop, I begin to appreciate a lot of things. Slowly but surely. <br />

I got lazy and I guess that held me back for awhile.<br />
<br />
Previously, when I was back in Penang, I would faithfully do a 5-6km jog with my colleague about 3-4 times a week. What I slowly begin to realise is that, without my jogging partner, I have no one to, indirectly, push me. My steroid was missing. My motivation... ZERO!!!<br />
<br />
I thought by buying a sports shoe would help. It didn't. So I ended up spending $90++ for a really cool ADIDAS training shoes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
About 4weeks back, I met with my jogging partner. He slimmed down soo~ much... He went from zero to hero. I was amaze. At the same time, I guess that acted as a wake up call. I told myself I would need to start my exercise again. I needed to put those $90++ shoes to good use. He became my motivation.<br />
<br />
I am faithfully jogging about 2-3 times a week now. Faithfully doing my push ups as well as sit ups. Yes.. it is not easy, but I found my motivation to use those hot ADIDAS =)Christopherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01920528102785106499noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946142765446712491.post-29248589087708148752012-11-13T16:57:00.001+08:002012-11-13T16:57:17.441+08:00My Sinful Treat<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

What I realised was that she seem to be the one who is putting effort into the relationship.. and it's not easy. I try to console her but that is only as much as I can do. Many times I asked 'why do continue?' Her reply.. 'I like him'<br />
<br />
'Like' is not strong enough and while in many cases the girl will jus leave the guy, She is one hell of a girl to be strong enough to do this.<br />
<br />
Weather it is jus a 'like' or 'love', a relationship is about two people sharing a special part of their life with each other. So often we fail to see that it is not about you or me but rather about the US.. This is the forgotten part of what a loving relationship is all about. So often we forget that and say 'I have done so much for you', 'I have done this n that', etc. Where is the 'US' in that relationship? ...and because of this, we give up at the first sight of trouble.<br />
<br />
Giving up would always be the easier way out because after that, everything else goes out of sight. It always takes two hands to clap. Never one.<br />
<br />
While I felt helpless listening to my friend, her strength reminded me again about the 'US' in a relationship.Being in a loving relationship is suppose to be a beautiful thing.. so always remember the 'US'... because it's all about US!!Christopherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01920528102785106499noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946142765446712491.post-77883132228023795592012-11-03T10:19:00.000+08:002012-11-03T10:19:00.355+08:00Universal Studio Singapore 1<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Well, playing the blame game, I blame my 'no time' on work. Work work and more work. I moved to Singapore and with that, even more work, even more work and even more work T.T</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This pass one year has been a roller coaster ride for me, I had my fair share depressing moments to joyful moments. Yes.. I'm still a Student in the 'Heart' area; but already a Master at work =/ </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Today, I could not sleep. Something was bothering me and as much as I try to sleep, my body just would not go to sleep. So I sat on my bed. Thinking... thinking... and thinking... I realized something.. that I don't have a life. My daily routine is just eat, sleep, work. I was bored to shit. Even on a holidays, I never seize to stop thinking about work; and that is the problem. I'm always minding other people's business.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I do not have a balance in my current state, and that really is not a good thing. It's not fun either being like this. In the midst of reminding myself that I need to balance work and play, comes an email chasing me for documentation or requesting support for a new problem etc.. the problem never ends.. Then I'm back to square one; even more work, even more work and even more work T.T</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But in the midst of my realization, I remembered a teaching from this humble Buddhist monk, Ajahn Brahm, where in his book 'Opening the Door of Your Heart' he tells of a story of 3 types of gardener. The first would work in the garden non-stop, with the hope to later enjoy the beauty of nature. The problem is he never stopped. He continued working on the garden as the garden continues to need sweeping, watering, pruning, etc.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The second gardener sat in the garden to admire the beauty of the garden. His mind wandered into what needs to be done but he never really picked up the rack to sweep the leaves etc. It was only thinking of needing to do work but no actual work done. The grass grew, vines grew and choke the flowers and it soon it was not a beautiful garden.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I don't remember the third gardener.. but it hit me that I am like the first gardener. I keep telling myself I will earn to be able to enjoy my life luxuriously. I will this and that after I have completed my work. The problem is.. work is never done. I never have time for myself. Never have time to relax. It's always about even more work, even more work and even more work T.T</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It's not easy trying to break away from this cycle.. but, I am trying. little by little, with a little motivation from here and there, I believe I will soon get back the balance I once had.</div>

Anyways, Continuing from my previous post, is still on Vietnam =) On my day of arrival, I took a walk in the right direction from my hotel. I kept walking walking and walking and eventually came across this place.<div><br />

</div><div>The famous Ben Thanh market. A place bustling with both locals and tourists, a place to eat local food without being slaughtered, a place to see young HOT girls selling clothes and other stuffs. The first thing I ate was the famous rice noodle beef other know as <span class="" style="background-color: whitesmoke; color: #333333; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">phở</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: whitesmoke; color: #333333; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"> </span><span class="hps" style="background-color: whitesmoke; color: #333333; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">bò </span><span class="hps" style="background-color: whitesmoke; color: #333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">(pronounced as fur boar).</span></span></div><div><span class="hps" style="background-color: whitesmoke; color: #333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Coffee</td></tr>

</div><div>Their beans has a strong aroma which really turned me on. Unlike the ordinary coffee beans, these beans have very strong aroma that even across the table, I could smell it as though it was right in front of me. If you enjoy coffee, you'd definitely love this.</div><div><br />
</div><div>Other traditional food that I got to eat was their spring rolls; made of rice paper. They seem to make turn rice into papers and noodles. That's their specialty.</div><div><br />

When my boss 1st told me he's sending me there, I really didn't know what to expect.<br />
<div><br />
</div><div>Vietnam in my perspective was just a poor country with nothing much to offer and isn't as happening as our KL. That all change during my stay there. I was converted in just 10 days.</div><div><br />
</div><div>When I landed at the Tan Son Nhat airport, Vietnam, The 1st thing that hit me as strange was the local time. Vietnam is located further to the east of Malaysia. Therefore, logically, Their clock should be faster than Malaysia. That however is not the case.; they are in fact 1 hour behind us. That is still something I wonder even till today.</div><div><br />
</div><div>Having been hit by this weird time reversal feeling, I suddenly felt I needed to explore this simple country more. I suddenly had the urge to wanting to see this country, not from a tourists point of view, but from a locals point of view. This was the start of my conversion as I quietly say to myself "Vietnam, here I come."</div><div><br />
</div><div>One of the very 1st things I noticed about the country is that their roads are filled with motorbikes. The number of cars on the road is less than what we have in Malaysia. I manage to capture this on my way to work.</div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The sea of motorbikes on the opposite direction.</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Zooming in. ..and I thought Penang was bad.</td></tr>
</tbody></table><div>The traffic there is crazy. Crazily unique =) Everyone uses the honk like its a musical instrument and everyone squeezes on the road. If I happen to knock you on the road and there isn't any injury, you'd just give me a stare and we'll continue our journey. No violence, no trying to eat each other, no suing, nothing. Just a stare and we're off . Is that unique or what =)</div><div><br />
</div><div>I talked to a local about the traffic condition and this is what he tells me. The number of bikes on the road is due to the cheap prices of bikes there; and with 10 million people living in Ho Chi Minh city alone, what do you expect the roads to be like? lol</div><div><br />
</div><div>The other thing is that, cars are special things to them. Owning one means you're rich. If you're rich, then you should drive a big car. Call them show-off =P</div><div><br />
</div><div>I asked the local, "What if you drive a small car?" he says a lady driving a small car is fine but generally, the locals are shy to drive small cars because they see it as a shameful thing. Also, if you drive a small car, most people will treat you like an outcast. </div><div><br />
</div><div>I thought to myself 'that serious huh?' Also, I came to understand that it is not very easy to get a bank loan over there as compared to over here. </div><div><br />
</div><div>Moving away from the busy traffic, Vietnam has lots of good food. I had the opportunity the dine with some locals to taste their local delicacies and drink their local beer. All these in the next posts. Goodnight for now =)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div><br />

I'll be adding more throughout the course of the day and who knows.. A blast from the past the past I guess. LOL<br />
<br />
Work was normally from 10am to 8 or 9 am. There was once we worked up till 10am. Working with them Taiwanese really is something. For them, time to work, they work properly; but when it's time to eat or after work, they really know how to enjoy themselves. Nearly everyday after, we go to seafood restaurants and eat seafood with beer as drinks. This is one the many seafood restaurant we ate in.<br />

Scurried to the lower ground and into ADIDAS sports shop and asked the sales person, "Do you have the Liverpool tickets?". He replied, "Only the RM388's are left".<br />
<br />
I pondered hard. To Buy or Not To Buy. Then I decided it was a little too pricey and told the guy, "I'll be back". I hurried off to Artist Gallery on the 2nd floor, saw the guy at the counter and went, "Eh!! YOU!! You use to work in Prangin Mall right? Beside England Optical?" He smiled at me saying "Yea, I remember you too". "Awesome", I said, "Now, I want Liverpool tickets" and now, I am the happiest person alive XD<br />

Naturally, that's what I did too. Unfortunately for me, my car didn't stop immediately. It kinda 'slowed' down then BANG!!! I kissed the viva in front of me =.=||<br />

Then later on she called me saying her friend asked her to make a police report. Really WTF!! I found out later on that her friend has some connections with the traffic police. My bro-in-law and I kept staring at the guy and I guess he felt it, he immediately disappeared into the office. Real jack ass. Even the police that took picture of our damage asked. "viva tak de pa pon". I just smiled at him because I knew everyone knows =|<br />

I want YOU!!!Liverpool is coming to town next month (16 July) and the tickets are already almost sold out =C<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLFwuLMVW5V59bwovXW-N6sZJQw41uc9s_nvaUWi_-Gz6q7i7lfkAF-gFeDpt9cy4TpTIntKmCumfQvJu8cbmcfAWdpWNGnftzesEf4fqQe1EpPBfoTLDEo8o4KJQk_HbkYabXr8EsMOFq/s1600/liv1.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="221" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLFwuLMVW5V59bwovXW-N6sZJQw41uc9s_nvaUWi_-Gz6q7i7lfkAF-gFeDpt9cy4TpTIntKmCumfQvJu8cbmcfAWdpWNGnftzesEf4fqQe1EpPBfoTLDEo8o4KJQk_HbkYabXr8EsMOFq/s400/liv1.bmp" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">What's left is just the cheap RM58 tickets which has seating's that are not very attractive. Bukit Jalil Stadium is a multipurpose stadium and with the running track around the field, with the RM58 ticket, your view wouldn't be nice. So.. not nice =C </div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0fSi9WMkuvFX2IKV9aOgnLSUeWxDEk_WmzdWq_POshF_8vmNPYd2h2BMjlKsC8bg5ZWodACam1q7ezdzgJLA5Gx_ndxI7GAAy0QWkp1BFh1RTtLbcMGcGjYSw7my0iQsG2AwOL3_Cg1Cs/s1600/liv2.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="352" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0fSi9WMkuvFX2IKV9aOgnLSUeWxDEk_WmzdWq_POshF_8vmNPYd2h2BMjlKsC8bg5ZWodACam1q7ezdzgJLA5Gx_ndxI7GAAy0QWkp1BFh1RTtLbcMGcGjYSw7my0iQsG2AwOL3_Cg1Cs/s400/liv2.bmp" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">What's left of course is the RM388 tickets which are kinda pricey AND, they are behind the bench so you cant really see Kenny screaming at the Reds 'move up' or a 'piss off' to our national couch. LOL!!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm guessing that tickets for online buying is full due to allocations around the country so hopefully tomorrow when I go to Qbay, they have those RM108 tickets for me.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">URGH!!! I really wana go watch Liverpool play so badly. It would be a dream come true if I get to have drinks with them too.. *imagining*</div><br />

I originally started with the ordinary 80mgs double A paper but eventually switched to the 135mgs drawing blocks. It is kind of too thick but it really builds solid models. <div><br />
</div><div>So far I've been building characters cartoon characters and you can say Sponge Bob and Patrick Star is one of the easiest to do.</div><div><br />

</div><div>So I decided to do something more sophisticated and of course something bigger =) I came up with this</div><div><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivM6wX7V-MZg_x8Ivs01E_X9DW1B7mkt0HMVFJ7_iS1AUJqCVtauzYE_0q-s3RQ23kFcILcCD0yjHqEcMsNs6v6w5CYU-zxMYSfzoK5zMYyblN_azyK4twe3D8myZcPSUvtnDnyvI1zxfV/s1600/DSC00686.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivM6wX7V-MZg_x8Ivs01E_X9DW1B7mkt0HMVFJ7_iS1AUJqCVtauzYE_0q-s3RQ23kFcILcCD0yjHqEcMsNs6v6w5CYU-zxMYSfzoK5zMYyblN_azyK4twe3D8myZcPSUvtnDnyvI1zxfV/s320/DSC00686.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHRZI5D_ajKBRMFy-0k5zxDZ4tSEjvMpa3HJDd0EPl49V6vTknXSCXYfxNPo9Er1aLpXa3caq5pxyBH_cMcbdDWDjHbyKeFty-x8ENdAtEBTIcYuFkWupWIBAAV5Kk_nJuQ63C58aR88r7/s1600/DSC00685.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHRZI5D_ajKBRMFy-0k5zxDZ4tSEjvMpa3HJDd0EPl49V6vTknXSCXYfxNPo9Er1aLpXa3caq5pxyBH_cMcbdDWDjHbyKeFty-x8ENdAtEBTIcYuFkWupWIBAAV5Kk_nJuQ63C58aR88r7/s320/DSC00685.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div>It took me about a week to complete the whole thing. Partly because I busy with other stuff but look at it now makes me feel awesome XD</div>Christopherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01920528102785106499noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946142765446712491.post-37585105979303556642011-01-20T22:35:00.000+08:002011-01-20T22:35:13.300+08:00OphiuchusDid you know that there is now a new constellation known as 'Ophiuchus'? Neither did I until yesterday when I was out with a friend and he told me about it. So with the new star being introduced, suddenly I've become a Libra instead of a Scorpio. With the addition of the new star, you are no longer what you think you are.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXFaqa_s84uxv5dTs7-ey-19T5q0A2Cc8pdEFB5Vna7nt8xl_VNwHwkXqWjTg3nJuWcTxxu4k0yB7BSETnl900uIIxsHgO2D3Q61Ne1__HMWrhsl_8yxqyrP74j_79KDnFcj2QSyO2JXHh/s1600/zodiac.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="179" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXFaqa_s84uxv5dTs7-ey-19T5q0A2Cc8pdEFB5Vna7nt8xl_VNwHwkXqWjTg3nJuWcTxxu4k0yB7BSETnl900uIIxsHgO2D3Q61Ne1__HMWrhsl_8yxqyrP74j_79KDnFcj2QSyO2JXHh/s320/zodiac.bmp" width="320" /></a></div>This new star isn't really something new as in it wasn't born yesterday or something like that. It actually has been around since ancient times and according to some sites, It is listed in Ptolemy's 48 constellations.<br />
<br />
I liked the idea that I'm a Scorpio and suddenly I'm told I'm a Libra.. it feels weird. So from the poisonous Scorpio I'm now the Golden scales of Libra.<br />
<br />
I'm not a hard-core horoscope believer and while it does feel kinda weird that I'm a Libra. I hardly ever remember my daily horoscope the minute I close the papers but somehow, I think it's kinda fun. I'm thinking, if someone were to ask me what's my sign, I'd probable say 'I'm Scorpion on a Golden scale' =)Christopherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01920528102785106499noreply@blogger.com2
