I finished playing the 'Adventure' mode and got my silver trophy XD
Once you've beaten the big boss (Dr. Zomboss) your sunflower will sing a pretty cute song while the zombies fill your garden and dance.
Dr. Zomboss sits on a giant zombot (lol) and that stupid looking guy hanging upside down is crazy Dave. He's usually upright but towards the end, he got caught by the zombies.
See my silver trophy? hahaha... The wordings that pop up is to tell me that I can get a golden flower if I play the mini-games, puzzle and survival games. In other words, the more I play, the more trophies I get. I don't know why, but I'm addicted to it. All-in all, complete your 'Adventure' mode and look forward to the singing video XD

Plants vs Zombies
Not too long ago, I started playing 'War 2'. It suck. It's not user friendly. There are a lot of missions I don't know how to complete. Why? It's because I don't know where to find the required items. I read the 'help' but it's too very general and doesn't help noobies like me :P So it suck.
'War 2' may not have attracted me but 'Plants vs Zombies' definitely did. I read about it on 'CHIP' January issue and since my housemate had the game, I gave it a try. My conclusion? It's AWESOME!!!
First up is the characters. Their awesomely cute; even the zombies XD
The story line is very simple but sometimes being simple is best. It's about zombies trying to attack your house and you, to defend your house , use plants. Each plant has their own unique function. There are different types of zombies too depending on the level you're at.
This is the main menu. In the beginning, you have only the option of playing the 'Adventure'. then as you progress, you'll unlock the 'Mini-Games', 'Puzzle', 'Zen Garden', etc.
Before the start of a level, you'll have to chose the plants you're going to use for that particular round and when you've completed a level, you get one new plant. Of course in the early stages of the game, you can't chose the plants you want because you'll be given only two.
It's not very difficult. With a little bit of strategy, you are sure to win. Each level presents zombies with different "skills" hence keeping the player wondering about the next level. It is addictive.
Nice graphics, cute characters, not annoying background music and sound, and not too difficult. It's a game you'll love :)

Jurin Xpress
Not too long ago while I was in Penang, I had the opportunity to hang out at Jurin Express. It's a Japanese eatery in Gurney. The moment I stepped in, I wanted to just lay down and spread myself on their large comfy seats. While I like their seats, there were a few things that left me wondering.
First was the characters on the wall. Is it japanese? It looks like chinese to me. I'm just confused. I can fully understand if they put japanese characters on the wall but if it's mandarin, which it certainly looks like, why? i did not like the wall.
Moving away from the wall of confusion, there are two sections at Jurin and is separated by a partition filled with nice with shinny pebble stones. They even have lightings to make the stones look like their glowing. I thought this part of the eatery was awesome. Simple yet elegant.
There is also this bar top; it looked like one. I think it's meant for those who just wana drink.
I couldn't remember what we ordered but when the food came, I thought the presentation was normal. nothing special about it. It tastes good though :) better than 'Prison' - located in Leith Street.
The baby octopus and salmon were good; nicely done I'd say XD it felt like I was on cloud 9.
Reasonable pricing, good service, good food, not too bad ambiance; I might go back there again.

hp F2480
I got a new printer yesterday, hp deskjet F2480 that prints, copies, and scans. I'm really excited about it :D
Inside the box were the usual stuff; manuals, cables, and introductory inks. Of course, the step-by-step pictorial manual were so easy to follow, I got it up and running in a blink of an eye ;)
Then, I saw this, web printing is not supported for Firefox web browser =.='' But I use Firefox. Well, then again, I guess it isn't such a big deal after all right?! I could always 'Cut-and-Paste'
After unpacking, THIS IS the real deal XD
The controls and indicators
All that for the price of RM169 XD

Damn
3 days into the new year and this is what happens to one of my shorts :(
How did it happen? Well I was getting in to a friends car; the front seat was a little cramped then somehow, my shorts got caught in her handle-bar-lock and tore it. *sigh*

War 2
I welcomed the New Year in Mardigras; chilling, chatting, and dancing :) Well it did not stop there. We had steamboat the next day and celebrated a friends birthday too. Today being Sunday, i decided to play a new online game (it's new for me) - WAR2
I knew about this game while in PC fair penang and this guy gave a food coupon so what the heck; since it's free, I might as well just try it out.
It is like any other strategy game where you are the commander and is in charge of building your army and conquering others. It's themed at world war 2. The time line of this game follows real time so it's basically a continuous thing.
I don't find it addictive yet; maybe I just started and need to get the hang of things. But still, in a range of 1-10. I'd give it a 6. You can check it out at http://war2.mycnx.com/index.php?lang=eng
Have fun playing :)
