Paper-crafting

It's been awhile since my last post and a lot has happen. One of the fun stuff I found I could do was paper-crafting. It all started after I saw some postings on FB and a friend talked to me about it. He was telling me how to harden the papers etc so I decided to try it out myself just for fun.

I found a few tutorials online but there is one particular site that I find was really really awesome. It has loads of stuff you can try as well as beginner's tutorial as well as advanced tutorial. If you're interested, you can check it out here.

So for my first project, I did Edward from Fullmetal Alchemist (FMA) and I have to say I'm impress. The ingredients I used are
- 80mg A4 paper (I used recycled paper since I only needed I side to be blank)
- my HP F2480 printer
- a pair of scissors
- some glue stick and
- a little bit of patience ;D

The outcome after about 2 and a half hours.

I had some problems with the edges and the glue. After all, this is a sticky hobby. I didn't stop here. I was hooked after I saw this. So I went a little further to make Edward's brother, Al. So on one fateful night, I made 2 FMA paper-crafts just like how on one fateful night both these brother's tried to resurrect their mother and lost their bodies; the beginning of the story of the Fullmetal Alchemist. If you watch the anime I'm sure you'd know what I'm crapping about XD but for those who don't... I made 2 paper-crafts in one night =.=||

Looking at both of these, I kinda like Edward. Maybe cos he's colourful compared to his brother who is just... BLUE!!!
